Scouts
Grow in character and outdoor skills with Scouts
The objective of the club is to provide an avenue for students to enjoy outdoor activities while developing their understanding of essential life skills and building their character through their involvement in scouting programmes.
Students participate in a programme that includes:
Skills Development
Members learn the foundation skills of scouting and practise essential survival techniques including map reading, knotting, outdoor cooking and camping. Students develop practical abilities through hands-on and adventure-packed activities. Players participate in diverse activities that help them master crucial outdoor skills and expand their understanding of self-reliance and teamwork.
Community Service
Students are exposed to meaningful community involvement projects where they can make a positive impact by helping others. These activities provide valuable experience and help students put their values and skills into action. Members learn the importance of service and develop a sense of responsibility towards their community.
Character Building
Students focus on developing strength of character and independence alongside their practical abilities. The programme emphasises that scouting activities instil resilience and compassion.
